I was offered a room with nice views of the mountains and the sunset. The location was stunning - close enough to the clinic in Santa Marta, many restaurants, stores, and the falls. The atmosphere created was quiet.

Great value for money with spacious and clean rooms, powerful aircon, and a refreshing pool. The location is convenient, just a short walk from the village center, and the staff, especially Aura, were friendly and helpful.
The breakfast could be improved with more gluten-free options and better communication about the inclusion of juice at an additional cost.

The room at El Refugio Minca was cozy and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the mountains from the patio. I loved the modern amenities, like the flat-screen TV and well-equipped kitchen. It made me feel right at home. The private bathroom was clean and stocked with free toiletries, which was a nice touch. The tile/marble floor in the double room added a touch of elegance to the space.
Personally, I found the air conditioning in the double room a bit too cold for my liking.

The room at El Refugio Minca was fantastic! It had a private bathroom with a refreshing shower and free toiletries. The flat-screen TV and kitchen were a great bonus, making our stay feel like a home away from home. The mountain view from some rooms was breathtaking, and the patio with a city view was a lovely spot to relax. The seating area in all the rooms was comfortable, and the tile/marble floor gave a cool touch. The air conditioning was a lifesaver, keeping us cool in the Minca heat. Plus, the bed linen and towels were provided, saving us the hassle of bringing our own.
Personally, I found the city view from the patio a little lacking, but I understand that others might still enjoy it.

We had a great stay at El Refugio! the 2 bed room was spacious and the A/C was phenomenal. the location was quiet, yet near the town center. the pool area was nice and the hammocks were clean and comfortable. the owners were very friendly and even drove us to the clinic when my boyfriend got sick. the breakfast had a great choice of options and our room had a nice view of the village and hills. Special mention to the staff and their friends who helped me when I had an accident and couldn't walk. We felt well taken care of!
There was nothing we didn't like. 😊.

The room I stayed in at El Refugio Minca was amazing! It had a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries, perfect for freshening up after a day of exploring. The flat-screen TV and kitchen were a nice bonus too. Plus, the mountain view from some rooms was absolutely stunning. I felt so cozy and at home with the seating area and the patio with a city view. The tile/marble floor and air conditioning in the double room added a touch of luxury. The bed linen and towels were provided, making my stay even more comfortable.
Personally, the only thing I didn't love was that not all rooms had a mountain view, but I understand that this is just my subjective opinion. Others might still find joy in the different views available.

Friendly staff, nice pool, well-decorated area. Spacious room, though basic. Close to main street and drop-off point from Santa Marta. Quiet at night. Warm shower after two weeks of cold showers.
